Contractors/Subcontractors

All contractors and subcontractors conducting work on behalf of DeFord shall:

• Adhere to all applicable OH&S regulatory requirements and Health and Safety policies and procedures;
• Participate in safety meetings or provide safety meeting minutes to the project Superintendent or their designate to ensure compliance;
• Ensure that all work being carried out meets the requirements of OH&S Regulatory Requirements and DeFord’s Health and Safety Policies and Procedures;
• Ensure their employees are competent and understand their responsibilities;
• Cooperate as necessary in incident investigations;
• Coordinate work activities through the site supervisors to ensure safety requirements are maintained;
• Participate in the site-specific orientation prior to commencing work.
